Margaret Moran was born about 1853, she married Patrick McCallion, a widower and warder at the Dunedin Prison in 1881.
They lived in Leith St, Dunedin and had three children.
When Margaret signed the suffrage petition the family were still living in Leith St and Patrick was now a Messenger for HM Customs.
Margaret died on 19 February 1906 and Patrick died in 1925, they are buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
