Margaret Wylie Stevenson was born in 1868 in New Zealand – the daughter of John Stevenson and Margaret Donald.
The family lived in Dunedin and when Margaret signed the suffrage petition they were living in Queen St and Margaret was working as a saleswoman.
She did not marry and she died on 2 March 1957 – she is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
