Margaret (Maggie) Anderson was born about 1869 in New Zealand.
She married Magnus Jamieson, a shopkeeper and baker, on January 27th 1892 in the Port Chalmers parish.
They had six children, and when Maggie signed the suffrage petition they were living in Waikouaiti, north of Dunedin.
They lived in Waikouaiti until Magnus retired in the mid 1920s.
He died in 1937 and Margaret died at their daughter’s home in June 16th 1950. They are buried together in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
