Margaret Miller Bryce was born in 1870 in the Tokomairiro district – the daughter of Thomas Bryce, a blacksmith, and Isabella Fleming.
When she signed the suffrage petition Margaret was living with her family in Milton.
She married Alexander Campbell, a stock agent, on 28 March 1900 at her family home in Milton and they had seven children.
Alexander died in 1944 and Margaret died on 5 July 1946 in Milton, they are buried together in the Fairfax Cemetery, Milton.
