Margaret (Mary) Dobbyn, nee Enright. Born 1860 in Ireland. Married in 1885, mother of eleven children.
The Manawatu Evening Standard reported:
'At her residence 14 Stanley Avenue Palmerston North, on August 3 1947, Margaret Mary, widow of the late Lawrence Joseph Dobbyn, late of Woodville; aged 87 years. Requiem Mass will be held 6.45am Wednesday morning and leaving St Patrick’s church, Broadway at 9.30 am for the Woodville Cemetery, arriving at the cemetery about 10 am.'
Her husband was a farmer, as was her son, Lawrence.
