Biographical information provided by Briar Barry for the He Tohu exhibition:
Margaret Hood was married to Peter Johnston Hood, a blacksmith. Peter died in 1903, aged 61. Margaret lived another 24 years, dying aged 84 in 1927. The plot in which Peter and Margaret are buried also contains 'wee Peggy Green' who died in 1913, aged 11 months. It’s not clear how Peggy was connected to them. Perhaps she was their grandchild?
