Margaret Lockhart was born in 1867 in New Zealand – the daughter of William Lockhart and Eliza Gray. (See 80 Elizabeth Lockhart)
Margaret did not marry and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living in Milton.
She died at Balclutha on 5 September 1941 and is buried with her family in the Fairfax Cemetery, Milton.
