Margaret was born about 1830.
When she signed the suffrage petition Margaret was living in Melville Lane, Dunedin working as a nurse.
Melville Lane was changed to Swan Street in 1899 – this is where Margaret died on 4 April 1909.
She is buried in the Northern Cemetery.
