Marion Elizabeth Pearce was born in 1869 in London – the daughter of Frederick Pearce, a compositor, and Louisa Wallington. (See 64 Louisa Pearce)
Marion’s family emigrated to New Zealand in 1875, she does not appear on the passenger list but appears to have arrived at the same time.
Marion did not marry and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Fox Rd, South Dunedin (now known as Melbourne St).
Marion died on 13 June 1939, she is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
