She was born Mary Hollis around 1852.
She married Arthur Ward Lascelles, an insurance agent, in 1874 and had 6 children (4 daughters and 2 sons). Their daughter Gertrude died in 1891 aged 11.
Arthur died in 1931. Mary died in 1935.
