Mary Anna Meade was born in 1864 in New Zealand – the daughter of William Meade, a contractor, and Bridget Moloney. (See 101 B Meade)
When Mary signed the suffrage petition she was living in South Dunedin.
She married Francis James Moloney, a carpenter, on 6 August 1899 at St Joseph’s Cathedral, Dunedin.
Mary died at her home in Dunedin on 1 February 1905 – she is buried in the Southern Cemetery.
Francis remarried later that year – he died in 1933 and is buried in the Hawera Cemetery.
