Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Mary McCambridge Parker was born about 1836 and was married to John Parker, a miner.

The family lived at Adam’s Flat where Mary signed the suffrage petition and they had two children.

They are also possibly the parents of 'John Parker’s two children' who are buried in the Glenore Cemetery.

They later moved to Milton where John died in 1911.

Mary died in Dunedin on 13 February 1918, they are buried with their son in the Fairfax Cemetery, Milton.
