Henry Anderson had lived in Fendalton for four years prior to moving to Prebbleton.

Kate Sheppard also lived in Clyde Road, Fendalton. The history of Fendalton, including many references to Clyde Road was the subject of a Master's Thesis in History "Land, Places and People in Fendalton 1850 -1950" submitted by F M Looser to Canterbury University in 2000.
