Mary Walker Milne was born in 1864 in New Zealand – the daughter of George Greig Milner, a harbour pilot, and Janet Walker. (See 101 Janet Milne)
Mary married Andrew William Crawford, a clerk, on 1 August 1888 at Port Chalmers and they had five children.
When Mary signed the suffrage petition they were living in Rattray St, Dunedin.
Mary died suddenly at her home on 6 February 1909 and Andrew died in 1943 at their son’s home in Tuatapere.
They are buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
