Mary Elizabeth Martin was born in 1872 in New Zealand – the daughter of Edward Martin, a farmer, and Annie Reid.
She married Robert Wyber, a farmer, on 16 June 1892 in the Inchclutha parish and they had four children.
Robert died in 1934 and Mary died on 15 February 1936 in Dunedin, they are buried together in the Gore Cemetery.
