Millie/Amelia Luckhurst was born about 1864.
She married french polisher Henry Francis Pellet in 1888 in Victoria, Australia and soon after their marriage they came to New Zealand where their son was born in 1889.
When Amelia signed the suffrage petition they were living in Clyde Avenue, off St David St in Dunedin.
Amelia died on 12 March 1918 and Henry remarried in 1920.
He died in 1955 – they are buried with Henry’s second wife in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
