Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Milly/Millicent Dunk was born in 1862 in Wadhurst, Sussex – the daughter of George Dunk, a groom, and Martha Willett.

Just before the marriage of Agnes Fallowes (See 98 Agnes K V Fallowes) Milly was working as a housekeeper to Rev John P Fallowes at the Vicarage in Coatham, Yorkshire.

When Milly signed the suffrage petition she was living at Selwyn College, Castle St, Dunedin – possibly working for the Fallowes family who had two young children.

In 1901 she can be found again with the Fallowes family as a visitor at The Rectory, Heene, Sussex.

Millicent died there in 1903, aged 41.
