Minnie/Wilhelmina Cross was born in 1868 in New Zealand – the daughter of George Cross and Jane Hay.
She married Thomas Thomson Paul, a bookbinder, on 9 October 1890 at Maori Hill, Dunedin.
They had three children, one who died in infancy, and when Minnie signed the suffrage petition they were living in Tweed St, Roslyn.
In the 1900s they moved to Christchurch – Thomas died there in 1916.
Minnie re-married in 1918 to William Robinson.
She died at her home on 9 November 1948 – she is buried with Thomas in the Linwood Cemetery.
