Minnie Beadle was born in 1861 in New Zealand – the daughter of James Beadle, a carpenter, and Harriet French.
Minnie did not marry and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Great King St, Dunedin.
She died on 27 July 1959 at the age of 98 and is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
