Mary Ann Freeman was born in 1865 in New Zealand – the daughter of Thomas Freeman, a labourer, and Mary Shays. (See 33 Mrs Freeman)
When Mary signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Duncan St, North East Valley, Dunedin.
What happened to her after this is unclear.
