Elizabeth married John Gauld Bremner, a storekeeper, on 22 November 1870 at her brother’s home in Dunedin.
They had nine children and lived, at first, in Naseby before moving to Tapanui in 1875.
Ten years later they came to Dunedin and when Elizabeth signed the suffrage petiton they were living in Sydney St, Kew.
Elizabeth died at her home on 18 July 1906 and John died in 1915 – they are buried in the family grave in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
