Mary Burns was born about 1842.
She married John Millar Cunningham, a baker, on May 11th 1863 in Otago.
They had 12 children, 2 who died in infancy. When Mary signed the suffrage petition they were living in Palmerston.
John died at their daughter’s home in Dunedin in 1894. Mary died at her home in Palmerston on December 27th 1904.
They are buried in the Palmerston Cemetery.
