Margaret Killeen was born about 1837.
She came to New Zealand and she married Henry/Harry Francis Hall, a woodcutter, in 1871. They had seven children and lived near Clinton in South Otago.
In 1877 their five-year-old daughter Elizabeth died when she fell in the kitchen fire and her clothes caught fire.
The family were living in Clinton when Margaret signed the suffrage petition, Harry died in Clinton in 1901 - he is buried in the Clinton Cemetery.
Margaret later moved to Dunedin then to live with her daughter in Otaki. She died in Otaki on 26 July 1926, her burial place is unknown.
