Elizabeth Ann Moss was born in 1868 in New Zealand – the daughter of Joshua Moss and Sarah Bolch.
She married John Truman Burleigh Robinson, a storeman, on 24 November 1889 in Dunedin and when Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition they were living in Cumberland Street.
They had three sons before Elizabeth died at her home on 17 December 1903 – she is buried with her parents in the Northern Cemetery.
John re-married in 1905 and had a further six children – he died in Wellington in 1939 and is buried in the Karori Cemetery.
