Mary Gunn was born about 1838 in Scotland.
She married farmer Andrew Jones on December 30th 1863 in the Waikouaiti Presbyterian Church.
They had four children and lived in Waikouaiti where Mary signed the suffrage petition.
Andrew died at their home in 1896 and Mary died, also at home, on December 9th 1921. They are buried together in the Waikouaiti Cemetery.
