Rose Clancy was born about 1836, she married John Keeffe/O’Keeffe, a carter, in 1869 in New Zealand and they had, at least, two daughters.

When Rose signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Athol Place, Dunedin.

John died at their home in 1906 and Rose died on 27 June 1911, they are buried with one of their daughter in the Southern Cemetery.
