Mrs M Dorreen was Mary Dorreen nee Lewer born 5 April 1863 at Ohariu Wellington. She married Albert Thomas Dorreen in 1880. He was a saw-miller, and they lived in the Halcolme/Bunnythorpe/Feilding area from at least 1882. If this petition was signed in 1893, she was aged 30 and had 8 children by then, with the latest one still a baby. Altogether she had 12 children, with two husbands. She was my Great Grandmother and I would be very pleased to hear from any of her descendants. I do have a photo of her, taken much later. Kae Lewis [email protected]
