Ann Little or Norris was born about 1830 in England. In 1863, in New Zealand, she married Austin Parker, a watchmaker. Both surnames (Little and Norris) were given so she may have been a widow. They had no children.
Ann and Austin lived in Lawrence, where Austin was declared bankrupt. They later moved to Naseby then Clyde, ending up in Dunedin in about 1874 where Austin was advertising rooms to let. In 1877 and in 1894 Austin was again declared bankrupt.
Ann died on 15 June 1899 at Dunedin Hospital and Austin died in 1910. They are buried together in the Northern Cemetery.
