Isabella Hamilton Denniston Campbell was born about 1848 in Edinburgh, Scotland, the daughter of John Campbell and Margaret Landles Hogg.
She emigrated to New Zealand, and married Robert Smith Raymond, a chemist, in 1876.
They had a daughter in 1878. When Isabella signed the suffrage petition they were living in Palmerston in North Otago.
In the 1900s they moved to Dunedin where Isabella died on February 2nd 1919 and Robert died three weeks later. They are buried together in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
