Margaret Delia Gallagher was born about 1862 in Ireland.
She came to New Zealand in the 1870’s & she married Torvalt Frederick William Sivertsen, a bootmaker from Denmark, on February 13th 1884 in Dunedin.
They had 4 children & when Margaret signed the suffrage petition they were living in Moray Place, Dunedin.
Margaret died at her home on January 9th 1935 & Torvalt died in 1944, they are buried together in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
