Agnes Ann Sanderson was born in 1865 in New Zealand – the daughter of James Sanderson, a market gardener, and Mary Ann Canty.

They had eight children, three who died in infancy.

James died in 1926 and Agnes died on 27 June  1951 – they are buried together in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
