Isabella/Bella Jane Moore was born about 1858 in Fermanagh, Ireland.
She arrived in Westland in 1875 on the Matarua and she married, carpenter, Thomas Loud Pelling on 7 September 1882 in Greymouth.
They had one son and when Isabella signed the suffrage petition they were living in Greymouth.
Isabella died at her home on 24 September 1922 and Thomas died in 1928 – they are buried together in the Karoro Cemetery.
