Laurentine Margaret Hansen was born about 1866.
She married William Jackson on 12 February 1890 and they had one son.
The family farmed at Mount Stuart near Waitahuna where Laurentine signed the suffrage petition.
In 1893 their son William drowned in a water barrel near their home and Laurentine died on 7 July 1895. They are buried in the Waitahuna Cemetery.
William re-married in 1898, he died in 1941 and is buried with his second wife in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
