Charlotte Dransfield was born about 1842, she married William Wimpenny, a widower & blacksmith with two children, in Yorkshire, in 1874.
They had two sons together before they emigrated to New Zealand about 1880 & settled in Dunedin.
When she signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Cashel St, South Dunedin.
Charlotte was active in the Cargill Rd Wesleyan Church & the Andersons Bay Red Cross Society.
William died in 1915 & Charlotte died on 8 August 1932. They are buried together in the Southern Cemetery.
