Norah Amelia Flynn was born in Ireland about 1861.

She married Edward Ernest Roebuck, a labourer, in 1885 in Queensland, Australia.

They had three children in Australia, one died in infancy, before they travelled to Bluff in 1890 on the Rotomahana.

The family settled in Dunedin and were living in George St when Norah signed the suffrage petition.

Edward died in 1933 and Norah died on 20 February 1942. They are both buried in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
