Agnes Rosa Duke was born in 1863 in Farnham, Surrey, England – the daughter of George Duke & Priscilla Prince. (See 161 Mrs P Duke)
Agnes emigrated to Otago with her family in 1872 on the May Queen.
When she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in St Andrew St, Dunedin working as a dressmaker.
Agnes did not marry and she died on 13 November 1917. She is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
