Rosina Eleanor Holmes was born in New Zealand in 1865 – the daughter of Henry Holmes, a contractor, and Mary Ann.

She married James Wiley, a blind maker, in 1889 and they had six children, one of who died in infancy.

When Rosina signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Smith St, Caversham.

James died in 1903 when their youngest child was three-years-old.

Rosina re-married in 1924 to Albert Edward Page, a widower.

She died on 15 April 1930 and is buried with her infant son in the Southern Cemetery.

Albert died in 1944, he is buried with his first wife in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
