Born 1844, Her parents were William Walpole and Elizabeth. They had six children; Sarah, Emily, Louisa, Henry, John, and Edward. In 1861 family living in Marleybone, Middlesex.
Sarah Walpole married Edwin Arnold on 27 February, 1875 in St Andrews Church, Holburn, Middlesex. They had six children – Ernest Edwin (1876) Eli William (1879), Ethel Louisa (Ettie) (1881), Horace Walpole (1883), Spenser Arthur (1885) who died aged 16 months 4 August 1886 and Louisa Grace (Lulu) (1887).
Family was living at 8 Pirie Street, Wellington in 1893 when Sarah signed the Womens Suffrage petition in 1893 (sheet334). Died on 24 March, 1918 aged 74.
