Susanna Tweed was born about 1847.
She married James McIntyre, a farmer, in 1870 in New Zealand.
They had five children, one who died in infancy, and when Susanna signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Owaka.
She died on 28 April 1902 and James died in 1905. They are both buried in the Owaka Cemetery.
