Sarah Jane Jamieson was born about 1857 in County Derry, Ireland – the daughter of Matilda Jamieson. (See 63 Matilda Jamieson)
She emigrated to Otago in 1878 on the Invercargill with her family and settled in Dunedin.
When Sarah signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Melbourne St, South Dunedin.
She died on 30 September 1903 at her brother’s home in South Dunedin and is buried in the family grave in the Southern Cemetery.
