Victoria Maria Dyer was born in 1863 in New Zealand, the daughter of William John Dyer and Anne Maria Redmayne.
She married John Thompson, a commercial traveller, in 1889. They had two children.
When Victoria signed the suffrage petition they were living in Frederick St, Mornington in Dunedin.
John died in Dunedin in 1938 and Victoria died on June 11th 1940 at Orokonui Home, near Dunedin. They are buried together in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
