Kayforce gunners in front of Kiwi Hill

Gunners from the 16th New Zealand Field Regiment pose for a photograph in front of Kiwi Hill at the regiment's headquarters in Korea, circa 1953.

Commentary about this image by Bob Jagger

My mates in Kayforce in front of Kiwi Hill at the camp headquarters of 16th New Zealand Field Regiment in Korea. The kiwi symbol, which as I remember was created in white stone, is behind the group. This photo was probably taken reasonably close to the 38th Parallel in ‘peace’ time, following the declared truce of 1953. Note the neatness and precision of the regiment’s line-up. (Graham Blake who was in the artillery gave me the photo.)

Can anyone remember my father Keith Alexander Cherry? I believe he was a 1st gunner in Kayforce. I would like to know some stories about him. He is no longer with us and want to keep his war memories alive especially for the grandchildren.
