H Stancombe Sheet 44

Harriet Stancombe is my great-great grandmother.
Harriet (nee Bennison) was born in 1854 in Yorkshire, England.
She arrived in NZ at Lyttleton on the 'Captain Cook' in 1863 with her father.
In December 1875 she married David Stancombe in Christchurch. They had 4 sons and 4 daughters.
In 1886 they moved to Athol where David held the position of Railway Ganger until he retired.
She died in May of 1930 and is buried at the Athol cemetery.

However when you look at the initials of the signature I cant help but think it looks more like F E Stancombe rather then H Stancombe. Harriet's daughter (my great-grandmother) was Frances Elizabeth but she would only have been 17 or 18 at the time of the petition.
