Hi My name is Janice Humphreys but my maiden name is Moore. My grandfather was William Francis More (Frank Moore) and my great uncles were Frederick Charles, (Chas) , John James (John) and Thomas Arthur Moore (Thos). I think I am related to a few more of the soldiers on the Rolls.
I live in Tasmania and am a volunteer history researcher at the Burnie Regional Museum helping with a WW1 exhibition later this year. I am also doing some research for the Wynyard RSL on one of their rare pictorial Rolls, the MT Hicks Roll of Honour.
However I want to start a business as a qualified WW1 History consultant having last year completed my fourth University Degree,a GDLAFH through UNE majoring in History. I have a BA in Anthropology and a Postgrad in Anthropology through Otago University and a Diploma in Development Studies through Massey University.
Because of my family's connection to Tapanui I would love to develop some sort of WW1 project to do with the region. I am open to any suggestions.
Thank you.
