Agnes Inglis McArthur was born about 1828 in Glasgow, Scotland.

She married her husband James, an engraver, in the 1850’s and they emigrated to New Zealand sometime in the 1860’s.

When Agnes signed the suffrage petition they were living in Stuart St, Dunedin.

She died at her home on 2 May 1906 and James died in 1911 – they are buried together in the Northern Cemetery.

Could anyone provide more details relevant to Agnes McArthur such as parents and their place of birth etc. I believe that Agnes was born around 1840 and married Richard Richmond around 1865.
Their child was Isabella Jane Richmond, my great grandmother.
