The Queenstown memorial oak was planted on Anzac Day 1990 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the landing on Gallipoli. The tree is an imported quercus cerris from Turkey. Under the oak is a plaque, 'Lest We Forget'

Magnificent. Trees like this cannot be purchased or grown overnight.
