This is a mis-transcription of the signature. The person's surname is Jebson. Olivia Jebson appears on the 1893 Main Electoral Roll for Sheffield. She was the second wife of John Haigh Jebson, her maiden name being Balls. She was the daughter of John Joseph Balls and Deborah Ann Smith, who had also signed the 1892 and 1893 petition. Her sister Josephine also signed the 1893 Petition.
