Page 51 of the Petition seems to give mainly Dunedin Addresses. Elizabeth Owen on that page does not give a location, simply her name twice. She has been incorrectly assigned a town/suburb

Elizabeth Owen of Tai Tapu signed page 206 of the petition which consists mainly of Tai Tapu residents and she gives her location as Tai Tapu. Research shows that she was Elizabeth nee Morgan living with her brother Lumley Morgan after the death of her husband Thomas Owen. cf
DEATH. Owen.- Ob August 6, at, the residence of her brother, Mr L. Morgan, Tai Tapu, Elizabeth, relict of the late Thomas Owen, Spreydon; in her -seventy-ninth year, Star (Christchurch), Issue 6251, 8 August 1898, Page 2
