Page 2 – Meet the NZ History web team

The NZ History website is produced by a small team at Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage and has drawn on the experience and skills of some of New Zealand's leading historians. Those currently responsible for NZ History include:

Neill Atkinson (chief historian), Katie Cheer (senior designer), Xavier Forde (senior historian mātauranga Māori), Jamie Mackay (senior digital adviser), Mahina-a-rangi Manuel (historian-researcher mātauranga Māori), Erin McFarlane (manager Te Pae Wānanga Heritage Content), Gareth Phipps (digital adviser), Tim Shoebridge (senior historian), David Turton (technical development lead) and Rachel Yates (senior Pacific historian). 

Educational content for the Te Akomanga section of the site was coordinated by Steve Watters (senior historian) and Ricky Prebble (senior historian). Others who had an important role in NZ History in recent years include Sarah Burgess (historian), Elizabeth Cox (senior historian), David Green (senior historian), Dean Johnston (senior designer) and Caitlin Watters (digital production editor).
