Marion/Minnie Leitch was born about 1870.
She married John Taylor, a farmer, on 23 June 1891 in the North Otago Parish.
They had 12 children, two who died in infancy, and when Minnie signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Enfield.
John died at their home in 1927 and Minnie died in Oamaru on 24 February 1961 – the are buried together in the Old Oamaru Cemetery.
